Harassment and Discrimination Policy

During the past year, the board and staff have been engaged in the process of reviewing all policies, including revising the Harassment and Discrimination Policy.

Board and staff are committed to offering an environment free from harassment or discrimination of any kind, and consistent with the efforts occurring across the entire arts sector, are taking additional steps to ensure our theatre is a safe space for everyone. Going forward, Board and staff re-commit to looking for opportunities to ensure policies are followed and communicated clearly and concisely.

For the purpose of the policy, a “member” is considered to include any individual engaged in the activities of Langham Court Theatre.

If you have an issue you would like to discuss, please contact our General Manager, Michelle Buck, by email at: gm@langhamtheatre.ca or call 250-384- 2142. She will assist you in deciding how to approach your individual situation.

Langham Court Theatre bears the legal responsibility for ensuring a safe and respectful workspace. It is important for us all to work together, to look out for each other, and speak up for each other. Together, we must strive to build our culture so that we can continue to create our work in a safe and respectful environment.
