2011-2012

Welcome to our 83rd Season

As one of the oldest community theatres in Canada, we are proud to announce our 83rd season. Over the last eight decades, with the dedication of thousands of volunteers, the Guild has presented more than 500 productions to hundreds-of-thousands of audience members. It is with the support of you, the members of our community, that it has been possible for us not only exist, but also thrive. We are grateful for your support and will continue to strive to deserve your patronage. We are pleased to invite you to join us in celebrating 83 years of entertainment in Victoria! – Toshik Bukowiecki, President

The world of live theatre combines entertainment and insight. It involves the audience in the full spectrum of emotions, a variety of ideas and a lively palette of sounds and sights. It taps into both the darkest and the lightest experiences of the human heart. We hope that this season will give you, our audience, an exciting range of human journeys: journeys that encompass love, fear, anger, betrayal, revenge… and the blessed joy of being alive! – Keith Digby & Cynthia Pronick, Production Co-Chair
