2025 Winter Holiday Closure
The Costume Loft will be closed from December 21, 2025 to January 6, 2026 for the Winter Holidays. We will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
During this time email, voice mail and direct messaging on social media accounts will only be checked very sporadically.
If you have costumes that need to be returned do not worry about accruing late fees. Please hold on to them until we open again in January.

Halloween Loft Hours
That wonderful time of year is fast approaching—Halloween is just around the corner! Our team is ready to help you find that perfect piece to complete your costume. While we don’t carry commercial Halloween costumes, we offer a wide selection of vintage clothing and accessories to inspire creative and unique looks. To better serve you during the Halloween season, we’re extending our hours:
October 20 – November 2
Wednesday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Please remember:
- Rentals are for two weeks
- We do not hold or reserve costumes for Halloween
July 2025 Closure
With July just around the corner The Costume Loft would like to let everyone know that the loft will be having a three week closure period to prepare for and recover from our massive sale.
The Costume Loft will be closed from July 13th – August 5th. Additionally, during this time responses to email or phone messages will be sporadic so please be patient with us.
The week before July 20th, the loft will be open ONLY TO RETURNS on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm – 4pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience this closure may incur. Please do not leave rental returns or donations outside our door.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the loft and all the volunteers that have graciously donated their time to ensure we have a successful sale this year.

The Costume Loft will be closed on April 19th & 20th for the long Easter Weekend. Happy Easter to everyone that observes.

The Costume Loft is mostly closed due to illness. The loft is open for returns only until 4pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Loft is back open after this year’s snow days.

Due to the projected forecasts calling for snow, The Loft staff is not sure what the conditions the road will be like each day. If you plan on making a trip out to see, please call ahead to make sure we are open. 250-384-2025

2025 Business Hours have slightly changed to help accommodate those who work later in the day. Our new business hours are as follow: Wed 1-6pm / Thurs 1-5pm / Fri 1-5pm / Sat 11-4pm

The Costume Loft is here to help you put together a costume for your upcoming Halloween get together. We specialize in unique vintage pieces over commercial costumes, which will give you a very distinctive look. Want to get an ensemble straight out of Bridgeton or Downtown Abby? We’ve got you covered. How about something less demure, like a clown or a cowboy. Why not both; go as a Rodeo Clown. Yup we can help you with that as well. As a reminder we do not hold or reserve costumes and our rental period is two weeks. Additionally we will be open Monday – Friday from 1-5 pm during the week of Halloween (October 28th – November 1st). We look forward to helping you find that special outfit.

The Costume Loft will be closed from August 28th – 31st for Labor Day weekend. We will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, September 4th.

Sorry to announce that the 2024’s Costume Loft Sale has been POSTPONED until next year. A number of factors played into making this tough decision. The most important is that our building is under going a couple of interior and exterior work projects making available space for hosting a sale problematic. But rest assure the Costume Loft Sale will be back in 2025.
