Art Show in the Lounge, a VISA fundraiser

The Vancouver Island School of Art (VISA) invite you to their “Art Makes Life Better” show in Langham’s lounge during the production of Send Me No Flowers.

There will be art for sale by a local artist June Higgins who was a graduate of VISA, and also a Board Member. June passed away in 2024 and her family has donated her beautiful artwork to raise funds for VISA. More on the artwork for sale can be found at this link.

The Vancouver Island School of Art (VISA)

The Vancouver Island School of Art (VISA) is the only independent school for visual arts that is designated by the Ministry of Advanced Education in the Province of BC. VISA was established in 2004 and we are excited to be celebrating our 20th year. To-date we have had over 5,000 students attend our courses and workshops. The strength of VISA is its focus on community and diversity, with typical classes having students ages 16-90 years learning together.

The school relies on fundraisers and donations to supplement its income as revenue from tuition does not cover the cost of running a school. We receive no financial support from any level of government.
