ACTING AND DIRECTING SHAKESPEARE

PART 1: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Acting Shakespeare
Course Description: With a focus on bringing the full richness of Shakespeare’s language from text to performance, this workshop will be invaluable to all those who, a couple of months from this weekend, will be auditioning for and performing in the many Shakespeare opportunities throughout the South Island.
PART 2: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Directing Shakespeare
Course Description: As with the morning session, this afternoon will focus on the language, and leading actors through the process of bringing those eternal scenes to the full richness they deserve. All who have ambitions to direct the Bard of Avon at some time will benefit hugely from this workshop. (Actors too!) Workshops
